About Us

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

In any successful training regimen, it’s crucial to have a plan that addresses every aspect of the process, eliminating inefficiencies along the way. Unlike the typical pitching coaches who offer the hour lesson and tips just to wait until the next session, professional MLB teams and elite players follow a meticulously designed, personalized plan. Our program is this professional approach, providing a fully integrated and customized plan for every player. Here’s how it works:

Initial Evaluation

We start with a thorough body assessment of your mobility and soft tissue limitations. Our professional body evaluation tests everything from the main spinal and hip mobility to toe and arch functionality, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of your physical condition.

Data-Driven Mechanical Analysis

Next, we conduct an in-depth pitching mechanical evaluation. This includes dozens of sections and positions to identify any inefficiencies in your specific biomechanics.

Customized Plan Development

Based on the initial evaluation and mechanical analysis, we design a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to you. This plan covers:

  • Daily dynamics, warm-ups, and arm care
  • Plyometric throwing and bio-mechanical drills
  • Catch play, velocity training, and pitching development
  • Lifting, speed, agility, and conditioning
  • Overall health, recovery, and nutritional guidance

Ongoing Support and Adjustments

Our program includes weekly in-person check-ups on high-intensity throwing days, using Rapsodo and other data-driven techniques. Additionally, you’ll receive weekly video in-depth analysis and phone calls to keep you focused and on track. Each month, your program will be adapted to align with your developmental progress.

This scientifically backed, data-driven approach, aims to maximize your performance and help you achieve your personal goals. Experience a training program that covers everything you need just like the pros at the highest level.

ABOUT SAM

Forced to leave college, Sam dedicated himself to a grueling two-year recovery process, including intense physical therapy and medical procedures where began learning everything there is about how the human body relates to baseball. His unwavering resilience and determination ultimately led to a near-full recovery and provided him with a deep understanding of the dedication and knowledge required to reach his potential as a baseball player.

Determined to return to baseball, Sam began the challenging process of rebuilding his skills during those years. He took a leap of faith by moving to a unknown, newly established pitching facility that has now become one of the top training hubs for professional players. The facility’s expert guidance and Sam’s hard work highly contributed to his remarkable comeback and +10mph velocity gain. With his skills rejuvenated, Sam entered the transfer portal and received numerous offers from Division I, Il and Ill schools. He chose to finish his college career at the University of Lynchburg, a small school with an emerging baseball program led by coaches with impressive backgrounds from the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. Sam’s decision proved transformative, even while battling more injury, he played a role in the team’s rise to prominence on a national stage, including back-to-back conference championships, back-to-back regional titles, back-to-back super regional wins, and back-to-back appearances in the NCAA College World Series. Most notably, the team won the first-ever Dill baseball national championship in the program and state history, marking only the second NCAA baseball national title for any Virginia school in over 100 years. Following his graduation, which was marked by his team’s induction into the Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame and recognition as one of the university’s most successful classes, Sam chose to return to Hampton Roads. Now, he is dedicated to giving back to his community by providing local aspiring athletes with the professional style training and resources he wished he had during his high school years, aiming to share his extensive knowledge and experience from his time training with dozens of active MLB pitchers and top MiLB prospects.
